Meet the team

We have a fantastic team of Maasai and friends from the wider community who are passionate about healthy, ethical and sustainable development based on the teachings of Jesus.

Pelua Ole Siloma

  • Is a local Maasai, director of RedTribe in Kenya and overseas our team in Maasailand.

“It is my privilege to serve in my community. I care about my people and want to see lasting change for the better.”

Nontinanna

  • “I never imagined I would be managing team of women in creating beautiful beaded jewellery using their traditional skills. This work helps them to provide for their families and even helps gifted girls through their education -when they would otherwise be sent into an early marriage.”

Florence and Lesiamon Siera

  • “We run the RedTribe clinic and are developing a service which provides a wide variety of treatment and prevention – ranging from dental treatment to minor surgery and midwifery.

We collect a lot of data which helps to determine where and who the problems effect most so that we can help find effective ways to prevent disease.”

Daniel Aloo

  • “I love my work and I love this community as well. I feel that God has brought me here with my skills as a carpenter to help with the many building projects and to pass on my skills to the young people after leaving school. One of my gifts is also with young people – mentoring and encouraging them in their faith.”

Daniel Masenka, Philip Kuyati

  • “We are both passionate about our faith and love to teach the bible and encourage the team to see God’s Kingdom come here in Maasailand. We help to manage many water and building projects too.”

Hennie and Becca

  • “We came to live with, and serve this beautiful community in 2009. We have loved seeing the RedTribe team grow and develop their God given talents and use them to bring transformation to their own community.

Because we have been so embraced by the warmth of our Maasai family it has been the hardest thing in the world leaving to develop our new roles as part of RedTribe in the UK.”
